WOMEN AT THE WELL
New Year’s Retreat
Personal time for you to reflect, renew and re-imagine a new year in the majesty of the Northern California redwoods
You must give birth to your images.
They are the future waiting to be born.
Fear not the strangeness you feel.
The future must enter you long before it happens.
Just wait for the birth,
for the hour of new clarity.—Rainer Maria Rilke, German Poet
Symbolically, our “inner well” is the source of our personal wisdom, deep knowing and originality – where our true nature and full sufficiency resides. We are at home with our self, with no need to please others or over-perform. We are enough exactly as we are – gratefully, joyously, brilliantly, honestly, spontaneously ENOUGH – with all of our human imperfections.
As women, our feminine nature (intuitive, receptive, creative) can be implicitly hidden or downplayed in order to please others, be accepted, or advance professionally. We come together and learn more about who we are through our connections with one another. We are all being called to befriend and use our intuitive feminine wisdom for the benefit of our own growth, relationships, and communities.
If you are ready to free yourself from:
This retreat is for you.
Learning from perennial wisdom, reflective practice, and small group conversations you will receive:
“Women at the Well is a gift to yourself. If you have an intuition that you should sign up…trust that! Mary creates an environment where it is simply enough to show up and be you. I found it to be a deep, rejuvenating and easeful weekend. I loved how much space we had to reflect, absorb, integrate…and how simple and uncomplicated it felt. Still feeling the reverberations, I highly recommend it.” – Emily Shepard
“There comes a time in the spiritual journey when you start making choices from a very different place. And if a choice lines up so that it supports truth, health, happiness, wisdom, and love, it’s the right choice.”– Angeles Arrien
Mary Corrigan leads this retreat.
“Mary creates an environment that supports authentic and deep connections where trust was quickly established. I appreciated the variety of mediums which all created a deep and lasting learning experience. I remained completely engaged throughout the entire weekend – the time flew by!” – Kathy O’Connell
“Mary models and encourages authenticity, humility, warmth, creativity, curiosity, joy, fearlessness, intelligence, wisdom, humor and gratitude. Her group exercises stretched me. This weekend is the best gift I’ve given myself in years.” – Carlin Holden
I am a consultant, teacher, artist and entrepreneur. I specialize in navigating transitions, change leadership and creating environments for learning and transformation. I founded my consulting and coaching practice, Tracking the Wisdom, LLC, in 1998. My international clients span corporate, not for profit, education, and healthcare sectors.
As an artist and entrepreneur, creativity is the air I breathe. I am a certified teacher of the renowned Creativity in Business program pioneered in the Stanford Graduate School of Business. I have led programs on creativity and innovation for corporate teams, entrepreneurs and individuals. I also write a blog – Creativity For the Rest of Us – exploring everyday creativity.
Women’s circles have been my passion for well over a decade. It has been said that circle is the birthplace of the new human. I am continually inspired by our stories of courage, compassion, and transformation. There is a magical, unpredictable synergy when you bring women of great heart together and unleash them into what’s possible. I teach The Spirit of Circle program to women desiring to start an intentional circle of their own.
My recent experience with throat cancer taught me about compassionate self-care and using creativity as a portal for growth and healing.
For twenty years, I was blessed to be a protégé of the late Angeles Arrien, well-known author of The Four Fold Way. I am committed to carrying on the practical applications of cross cultural wisdom in the world; walking the mystical path with practical feet.
Whether the focus at this time in your life is personal growth, relationships, work, or health, you will benefit from this program. Join the circle to envision your future alive with creative fire, heart, and meaning.
